IF YOU HAVE PPO INSURANCE

We don’t directly process insurance, but as an allied healthcare provider, we can offer you a special invoice that’s called a superbill. This is an itemized document that details the list of services that we have provided for you. This allows you to bill your insurance company directly to facilitate reimbursement for the services.

Superbills include information similar to an insurance claim form, such as the date of the service provided, procedure codes and a total balance due. Once you receive a superbill from us, you simply submit it to your PPO carrier.

It may take several months for them to process the invoice and they may contact us for clarity. But if you take the appropriate steps that we have identified below, you should have no issue in getting fully reimbursed minus your copay!

YOU CAN GET REIMBURSED!

HOW TO GET STARTED

If you have PPO Insurance, you can get reimbursed, unless you are denied for a valid reason such as your policy does not cover our out-of-network services. Thus it’s very important to contact your carrier in advance to get clearance and a prescription. Superbills are not accepted by HMO or Medicare.

These are the recommended steps to take in order to make your life easy in getting reimbursed.

  1. Contact your carrier rep and inquire if your policy allows out of network reimbursement for the following CPT procedure codes: 97124, 97140, or 97112 (see below).

  2. Contact your primary physician and request a prescription for the particular service you need from us and why. It can often be done by a telehealth phone call.

  3. Provide us a copy of your prescription, which should contain the proper diagnostic code for the service and the duration.

It’s that simple.
